Shiva Oracle

Receive wisdom from the destroyer and transformer — 108 forms of Lord Shiva to guide you through shadow work, dissolution and the path of inner liberation

What is the Shiva Oracle

The Shiva Oracle is a 108-card deck drawing on the 108 forms of Lord Shiva — the Hindu deity of destruction, transformation, cosmic consciousness and inner liberation. Each card carries a chant and teaching to help you navigate shadow work, the dissolution of illusion and the reclaiming of your deepest self.

Where the Ganesha Oracle clears the path forward and the Kali Oracle burns what is false, Shiva's medicine goes deeper still — into the nature of the self that walks the path. His teachings do not offer comfort or direction so much as they offer truth about who you are beneath all the accumulation of conditioning, fear and identity.

The 108 cards mirror the sacred number found throughout Hindu and yogic tradition — 108 beads on a mala, 108 names of the divine. Each of Shiva's 108 forms carries a distinct aspect of his medicine, from the auspicious to the fierce, from the cosmic dancer to the ascetic in stillness.

How to use this oracle

Before drawing, arrive in stillness. You can begin with the traditional invocation — Om Namah Shivaya — chanted three times to invite Shiva's presence and open the space. Then hold your question or simply surrender to whatever teaching is most needed right now.

Draw your card and read the wisdom slowly. Shiva's teachings often point to what is ready to be released — a belief, a pattern, an identity that has outlived its purpose. That recognition is the beginning of transformation. You can use the mantra timer to chant Om Namah Shivaya before or after your reading.
